Want to Mtn Bike at the VT50 in Sept. 25? #VT50 #mountainbikes #ultrarun #VT #NH #vermontadaptive

We have 30 Spots reserved at the Vermont 50 Race for folks that raise money for Vermont Adaptive. It's easy, sign up for a CrowdRise. com page (we'll even help promote you!) raise $1000 before August 26 and you're in (and you'll be helping out a GREAT organization!)

At this year's Vermont 100 Endurance Race 21 dedicated charity runners raised OVER $80,000! Yup, you read that right $80,000!

We think the folks in the
VERMONT 50 camp
can raise even more!

And you don't have to be a mountain biker or runner to raise money. Anyone can!

If you reach your $1000 goal you can give your spot to someone or roll it over to the 2017 race!

Nancy's Story-I don't even race but I want to raise money for Vermont Adaptive.
I've been volunteering with Vermont Adaptive since its first year at Ascutney Mountain with Laura Farrell. I taught adaptive skiing for 10 years. I think I've only missed one Vermont 100 race and none of the Vermont 50 races. I'm the merch lady you see at both of these races! I don't ski any more but work at these special event races. Please donate and help me reach my $1000 goal. If I reach my goal I'll give my race entrance to one lucky person!

R.I.P. Alice Anderson-Long Time Vermont 100, Vermont 50 and Vermont Adaptive Volunteer. #vermontadaptive #VT50 #ascutneytrails #ascutneyoutdoors #mountainbikes #ultrarun #VT #NH

It is with a heavy heart that we must report a dear, dear friend to Vermont Adaptive, Vermont100 and Vermont 50 has passed.

Her family has arranged for an informal celebration of Ma, Memaw, Alice Anderson this Friday 1:00 p.m. at Sheddsville Cemetery in West Windsor VT followed by an open house- reception "Memaw's Party" starting at 2:00p.m. at Alice's House on John Myers Road. All are invited to both.

Please spread the word. And feel free to visit Alice's Facebook page to leave a message.

We will all miss her terribly. Our races won't be the same without her.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Vermont Adaptive and Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society.
